RA Dalton Ltd are the Klargester number one accredited installer covering the whole of the UK.
A change of scenery with the Klargester Bioficient 1.
Not every installation we carry out is replacing a broken or failed septic tank/ sewage treatment plant, sometimes we are asked to provide a quotation for entirely different purposes. For this one customer in particular we were asked to install a new treatment plant located in the lower area of the garden and with as low profile lid as possible.
Therefore, the ultimate solution for this domestic dwelling was to install a new Klargester Bioficient 1, out of all the treatment plants we install the Bioficient has the smallest access cover making it ideal for the customers who are wanting a minimal visual impact on their garden.
The Klargester Bioficient 1.
The new Klargester Bioficient 1 was being installed to replace a BA BioDisc package sewage treatment plant, both systems are BSEN 12566-3 accredited and are both compliant with the 2020 General Binding Rules and suitable for discharge to the watercourse providing they are appropriately maintained and emptied.
With these systems it is a case of horses for courses… And the Bioficient was just the right one to fit the bill.
Installation in Oxfordshire.
Due to the complete change of location, we connected onto the existing inlet chamber prior to reworking the drainage approximately 12 metres down the garden with a short to discharge to the stream.
The new sewage treatment plant was installed on a concrete base and in a full concrete surround which is as per the manufacturer’s installation guidelines, it is imperative that when installing any kind of treatment plant that this is adhered to and the system is appropriately ballasted to avoid the system popping out of the ground.
All of the work was carried out to a machine finish which allows the customer to carry out landscaping once the weather and ground conditions improve.
