A building regulation requirement

Following the installation of your new sewage treatment plant/pump station/oil water separator, it is a building regulation requirement and recommended by the manufacturer that your new system is commissioned by a competent and experienced service engineer.

RA Dalton service engineers are certified by both Kingspan Klargester and Premier Tech Aqua, they also hold British Water accreditation.

Why commission your new sewage treatment plant?

The purpose of commissioning any system is to competently check the installation along with the mechanical and electrical function of the plant. Commissioning is an essential component for the ongoing efficiency of the treatment tank, if your system is not commissioned by a competent, accredited body this may lead to difficulties if you find yourself having to make a claim under warranty.

If the installation and operation of the plant is not checked this may have an adverse effect of the functionality of the unit.  Picking up any issues in the early days after installation could avoid costly repairs and worst case scenario a new treatment plant being required!

What’s included in commissioning?

RA Dalton offers different levels of commissioning to suit the needs and requirements of your site, this can vary from the basic compulsory checks of all mechanical parts to a full commissioning including installing pumps, floats, pulling cables etc.
