Servicing your Kingspan Klargester Oil Water Separators/Interceptors

It is vital for the continued operation of your Kingspan Klargester Oil Water Separator that they are regularly serviced and maintained. Each system has a recommended frequency for servicing that is outlined by Kingspan Klargester.

Kingspan Klargester offer a range of Oil water Separators including Bypass Separators, Full Retention separators, Forecourt Separators, Washdown and Silt Separators and Car Wash Silt Traps.

Whilst Oil Water Separators are generally non-mechanical themselves, their alarms need to be serviced and Coalescer filters checked/maintained.

PPG3 guidelines state that all Oil Water Separators should be fitted with an intrinsically safe warning device. If your separator does not have this then please get in touch and we can arrange a quotation for supply and installation of an alarm.

Kingspan Klargester oil water separators – what’s included in your service?

Our engineers will carry out a full mechanical and electrical service including where required:

checking the operation of the alarm (Darcy, Labkotec etc)
test alarm probe to ensure activation
check filters and advise if replacements are required
checking non return valves
advise if desludging is needed
