Job Overview:
We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven E-Commerce Sales Executive to oversee web development, sales, technical assistance, and product management for our online platform ‘Direct Drainage’. You will play a key role in optimising our e-commerce operations and enhancing the customer experience. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills as you collaborate with suppliers and customers alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Support & Technical Assistance: Provide expert product knowledge and technical support to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues.
- Product Management: Manage product categories, update inventory levels, and ensure accurate descriptions and technical specifications for each item.
- Web Development: Work closely with the development team to ensure a seamless and user-friendly shopping experience.
- Sales Strategy: Drive online sales by developing and implementing sales strategies
- Customer Service: Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring excellent service and timely technical assistance. Resolve any technical issues related to products.
- Supplier Relations: Liaise with suppliers to manage product availability, pricing, and stock levels. Ensure the timely delivery of products to meet customer demand.
- Performance Analysis: Track and analyse e-commerce sales data to assess performance, identify trends, and implement improvements for better customer experience and sales growth.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in E-Commerce, Digital Marketing or similar role.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, web development, and sales techniques.
- Experience in the wastewater, or pump industries (or similar technical sectors) is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first approach.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with development teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in using sales analytics tools to improve strategies and results.
