We are delighted to welcome Ian as our new Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) Manager. With a career spanning over 35 years in the engineering industry, Ian has extensive experience in ensuring workplace safety and compliance. Having worked in a variety of roles since 1987, he has spent the last 20 years managing QHSE, honing his ability to implement practical and effective safety measures.

Ian is passionate about fostering a positive safety culture, believing that employee engagement is key to reducing accidents and creating a safer work environment.

QHSE Focus and Impact

Bringing Knowledge and Experience to the Team: Ian’s initial priority is to gain a deep understanding of RA Dalton’s operations by meeting with engineers, conducting site visits, and reviewing current management procedures. His hands-on approach ensures that safety initiatives are tailored to the unique challenges of our business.

Enhancing Safety and Compliance Standards: With our ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 recertifications approaching in April, Ian is leading efforts to maintain and exceed these rigorous standards. A key initiative will be the introduction of an Integrated Management System to monitor QHSE performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvements across the business.
